21st Annual
Neighborhood Watch Spaghetti Dinner
Sunday, May 4th

Join members of the Berkeley Neighborhood Watch as the group
holds its Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday,
May 20th in the cafeteria of MacArthur Junior High School (Wolf Road and St. Charles Road).

The menu includes spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, garden salad, fruit
cocktail, cake, coffee and soda.

Tickets are $5.00 per person if purchased in advance, or $6.00 per person
if purchased at the door. Children under three will be admitted free.
Tickets can be purchased from
Neighborhood Watch Block Captains
or
Village Hall.

The following is a list of achievements that the Berkeley Neighborhood Watch Organization was able to be a part of due to concerned citizens banning together to provide a safe and stimulating environment in which to live.

Thank you to all who helped make this list possible.

In previous years the Berkeley Neighborhood Watch Organization:

  • Hosted the annual Spaghetti Dinner in May

  • Sponsored a boys’ baseball team

  • Supported Polly Kody’s annual

  • Kiddy Parade on Bohlander Avenue

  • Supplied photo film for police officers’ photo events

  • Supplied photo buttons for St. Domitilla’s “Class of 01” dance

  • Bought the T-shirts for the D.A.R.E. program in Berkeley schools

  • Hosted special speakers throughout the year

  • for community awareness

  • Provided scholarship bonds for five outstanding

  • Berkeley students in the area schools (MacArthur

  • Middle School, Hillside Grade School, Immanuel Lutheran

  • School in Elmhurst and St. Domitilla School)

  • Provided food during the May Bike Rodeo

  • Sponsored a golf hole at the annual St. Domitilla Golf Outing

  • Sponsored a girls’ softball team

  • Provided food during the Village Craft Fair in June

  • Supported the purchase of new Police Trading Cards

  • Donated $500 to the Boy Scouts for summer camp

  • Watch Program for seniors, five $20 Jewel Gift Certificates

  • Hosted Octoberfest in September

  • Purchased a baseball banner for $150 for the ball field fence

Thank you for a year of plenty and growth.
